We invite our network of sophisticated private investors, family offices and professionals, to participate

MTN programmes. We help our investors build laddered portfolios that provide regular income that can either be reinvested for the future or drawn down as income. This approach is highly cash generative and flexible to meet changing income requirements over time.

 

Investors are able to supplement their portfolios with equity opportunities on the AIM and Aquis exchanges, which often come with attractive tax reliefs such as the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and Business Relief.

Our Investment Offering

Fixed Income

LGB is a strong advocate of Laddered Fixed Income Portfolios, an investment strategy consisting of an assortment of fixed income securities with staggered maturities. For our investors, this means building portfolios containing several fixed income investments with different maturities, ideally paying interest at different times too. It is intended that bonds are held to maturity so there is no active trading.

 

Our Fixed Income offering consists of the following:

 

UK T-Bills: investors are able to participate in the weekly UK treasury bill auctions in nominal amounts of £50k, for maturities of 3 or 6 months

Gilts: Investors are provided with a weekly list of gilts which can be traded through the LGB Investments platform

Corporate bonds: a curated list of Sterling denominated bonds that offer liquidity and can be bought in the secondary market is updated weekly through the LGB Deal Hub

MTN Programmes: LGB’s proprietary Medium Term Note programmes offer regular opportunities to invest in high yielding notes issued by UK SMEs. Investors will be invited to meet with the management teams of the issuers and have regular opportunities for re-investment. All programmes are arranged, monitored and audited by LGB Capital Markets

The LGB SME Private Debt Fund: a Guernsey-based roll-up fund aiming to provide steadily compounding returns from a well-diversified portfolio of fixed income holdings. It was established in June 2016 and is offered through the LGB Investments platform

Equity

LGB investors are offered regular opportunities to participate in private placements and IPOs on the LSE’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM) as well as the Aquis Exchange. Transactions regularly come with tax relief benefits such as the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and/or Business Relief.

 

Opportunities are assessed by the LGB Investments team using a thematic approach. In a fast changing world, we seek out companies that are embracing the changes affecting their sector and positioning themselves to benefit from these long term trends.
